Together 4 Oregon Livestream

May 1, 2020

Covid-19 has hit workers hard, leaving thousands of Oregonians with no way to put food on their table, pay their rent, or even keep their lights on, others are trapped inside homes with complicated and/or abusive partners. Oregon’s production community felt something must be done right away. In response, with professionals from all over Oregon, including writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, and others we have joined forces and formed Together4Oregon.

Our mission is to help those in our state out of work and hit hard by this pandemic. As business begins to resume we ask that you keep in mind that our event services industry will not return to work until 2021 and this leaves a huge financial gap for ten of thousands of our friends, our neighbors, our colleagues & our brothers and sisters.

So, to accomplish the mission - We are partnering with the best of Oregon's Production Community to produce a physically distanced fundraiser to be broadcast LIVE on KGW-TV/KGW News CH 8 and Alpha Media across the State on Saturday July 18th at 7pm PST.

All of the proceeds directly benefit 4 selected charities equally to help as many of you in need as possible.

Event Beneficiaries:

Sunshine Division - a Portland non-profit that provides emergency meals and food boxes.

LCSA-Portland - (Labor's Community Service Agency) handles worker outreach and bridge funds for families.

Bradley Angle - a local non-profit dedicated to abuse survivors, will take care of those affected by domestic violence and fragile households.

Native American Youth and Family Center - (NAYA) will care for the needs of those so often neglected by policy protections and left out of mainstream fundraisers - our Native and Latinx community members.

TOGETHER WE THRIVE!
